Grades 7th to 10th
After 10th grade students are encouraged to attend the Running Start program at Wenatchee Valley College. Tutoring, mentorships, and internships will
also be available at Joyful Scholars to assist students and families as they achieve their educational goals.
Joyful Scholars Montessori (JSM) places children into multi-age groups, which normally span three age levels. Children stay with their teachers for three years. This allows teachers to develop close, long-term relationships with their pupils, allows them to know each child's learning style very well, and encourages a strong sense of community among the children. Every year, more non-Montessori schools adopt this effective strategy.
Currently, JSM offers programs for preK through 6th grade with junior high support. Stayed tuned for more information on a developing junior high program next school year.
