Session 1: July 10 - 13
Age Group Name Description
3-5 Crafty Critters Join us for a crafting extravaganza! We will practice our fine motor skills, while drawing, painting, cutting, gluing and glittering. We’ll also learn fun animal facts and Spanish vocabulary with our bilingual instructor.
6-8 Outdoor Arts Let your creativity run wild during this big, fun, messy, loud week full of outdoor art, crafts, and games. We’ll explore, create, and play in our favorite place--our own backyard!
9-12 Art From Nature Ever wonder what artists used before there were art supply stores? This week, we’ll use nature’s materials for Ukrainian egg dying with beeswax resist and writing with quills and squid ink.

We are very excited to announce our 2017 summer camps! 

Our summer camps will be offered over five sessions (dates listed below). Each individual camp will take place on a Monday through Thursday. All camp sessions will begin at 9am and conclude at 12pm. 


If you'd like to reserve a spot in one of the following camps for your child, please first complete the Paypal transaction (a Paypal account is not needed). Following completion of the transaction, complete the registration form below (for each child you are registering).  Please note that registration is not complete until both payment and registration form has been received. Session 3: July 24 - 27
Age Group Name Description
3-5 Bilingual Music and Motion Move to the music! Our bilingual instructor will incorporate music, movement and fun activities for this session. Simple vocabulary will be introduced through song, in addition to simple Spanish conversational skills. You will love this bilingual, bicultural experience!
6-8 Tools in Nature Find exactly the right piece of wood and make a drumstick. Learn to identify, harvest and dry yarrow and chamomile for tea. Create a name stamp in a wood block. Turn a rock into an arrow head. Feel the satisfaction that comes from making something useful out of the wealth that nature provides. Note: We will take a field trip the first day to search for our materials in nature.
9-12 Robotics What is a robot? How is a robot made? What makes a robot move? How does a robot learn? If you have ever asked one of these questions, join us to find the answer. This is a hands-on class. We will explore electricity, learn the parts of a robot and program a robot to accomplish a task. We have robots for demonstrations. We have robots for hands-on learning. If you have a robot yourself, feel free to bring it too! We play to learn!

Session 4: July 31 - August 3
Age Group Name Description
3-5 Sensory Art Children will explore, experiment, and express themselves with sensory art experiences, such as slippery cool paint, sticky glue, or squishy play dough. We'll experience a variety of fun and exciting art mediums. Prepare to get messy!
6-8 Exploring Archeology Ready to don an archaeologist's gear and find a real fossil? Replicate ancient pottery? Create petroglyphs? So are we! Note: We will take a field trip on the last day to search for fossils locally.
9-12 Embroidery and Knitting Join this week if you are a new or experienced embroiderer or knitter. We will spend the week learning new skills, and you will take home finished projects! All materials will be provided, but feel free to bring a project if you have one started.

Summer Camps

Session 2: July 17 - 20
Age Group Name Description
3-5 Hands-on Science Science has never been more fun! This week is all about exploring the scientific process and having fun doing so. Using hands-on (safe) experiments, this is the perfect camp for a curious child!
6-8 Soccer Skills Taught by an experienced soccer coach, this camp is for the new and experienced soccer player. Each day will provide a new set of drills to improve skills, and will provide plenty of scrimmage time. For an extra boost in field-time, or a fun way to get acquainted with the sport, join us this week!
6-12 Forts and Fairies Join us as we build forts large and small, study catapult science, and practice archery. We'll also create fairy houses, flower chains, and woodland crafts. This is the perfect camp for imaginative boys and girls who love to tinker.
Session 5: August 7 - 10

3-5 Bilingual Cooking Creations Explore Mexican culture through cooking! We will provide balanced snacks daily and a bilingual recipe book to take home. Please note any allergies in your registration.
6-8 Grateful Gardener Master the life cycle of a seed and watch plants grow before your eyes. Find out how plants share their seeds and how plants propagate in different ways. We will have plants to take home on Thursday. Prepare to get your hands dirty this week!
9-12 Upcyle Sewing Have a favorite pair of ripped pants, a stained shirt or holey socks? Bring them and we'll learn ways to make them favorites again! Hand and machine sewing skills will be taught. Learn to patch, or create something entirely new: socks-fingerless gloves, jeans-aprons, or a scarf-skirt.
