Joyful Scholars Montessori School provides a holistic education in the Montessori tradition, empowering students to use sound judgment, evaluate and understand the world around them, and be well-informed, contributing citizens.
About Joyful Scholars Montessori
Joyful Scholars is the only preschool through 12th grade school in the Wenatchee valley that provides a traditional Montessori education. Students enjoy a low teacher-student ratio, project-based learning, individual instruction, and a host of exceptional learning activities.
Our program follows the Montessori tradition of multi-age classrooms organized into three-year age groupings. Children will feel the community atmosphere where kindness and respect are encouraged as they teach and learn from one another. Carefully designed Montessori materials assist in the development of competency in practical life activities, sensorial development, refinement of movement (gross- and fine-motor), mathematics, language, science, and social studies.
We provide a holistic year-round education in the Montessori tradition, empowering students to use sound judgment, evaluate and understand the world around them, and be well-informed, contributing citizens. Our areas of emphasis include Spanish-language acquisition, high-level literacy and language development, natural studies and mathematics, global awareness and environmental appreciation, civic engagement, social responsibility, and peace education. We also offer music and art instruction, as well as a focus on physical education and healthy living.
